My name is Ana Catarina, a cinematography master graduate with a background in audiovisual and multimedia. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, I studied audiovisual and multimedia in the School of Communication and Media Studies (Lisbon, Portugal) and afterwards decided to specialize in Digital Cinematography at Bournemouth Univesity, England.
Since 2010 I have been involved in projects as camera operator and assistant, producer, editor and cinematographer for short films, corporate videos and music festival celebrations. In 2013 I won the 1st prize for the Triple Awards in the 3 minutes category with the project "Dream Land" and last year, 2016, the project "The Life of a Sober Man" was nominated by the Royal Society Television student awards in the category of Postgraduate Comedy & Entertainment.
2018 was the year I decided I wanted to invest in 3D, an old skill I always enjoyed but haven't developed since my bachelor years. With that thought in mind, I decided to take a specialized 3D course at World Academy, aiming to become a 3D artist in the near future.
I am now ready for new projects and adventures.
